One amazing island found in the area of Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines is Hilotongan Island. “Bangka” as the main transportation going to the island is one cool small boat made of hard-wood or “tugas”. A lot of foreigners went to the island to enjoy swimming on the clean waters and eat “sinugbang isda” or grilled fish during lunch time. The amazing part of the island is that during low tide, you’ll be able to see the island with its clean white sand in the area. During high tide, “bangka” drivers will have a hard time to locate the island because it will be hard to see its surface. During daytime, you’ll be able to see some migrant birds from Taiwan and Vietnam. But they’re not the friendly type birds because they will fly even if you feed them.
