How to Access Cebu City

Cebu City is very accessible anywhere you are in the country or even if you’re abroad. You can either reach Cebu by plane or by boat.

If you’re already in Cebu and you want to get around and discover the city, you can ride a taxi, jeepneys or buses. The simplest way would be to ride a taxi which cost 60 to 70 pesos depending on where you want to go. The taxi’s current flag down is 30 pesos and would cost 2.50 pesos per succeeding 200 meters and 2.50 pesos as well per waiting time per two minutes. However, sometimes driver will try to bargain if they notice that you are a tourist which will cost you twice the real price. Most of the jeepneys are 24 hours and covers all of the corners because it is the main means of transportation in the city. There are also buses that are available but they tend to run exclusively along the north to south route.
